Alleluia Choir
The Alleluia Choir is our primary choir, leading worship at our traditional services. It is open to anyone who would like to sing, from confirmation age and up. The group rehearses weekly, except during the summer. Check the weekly bulletin for current schedule, as this may change seasonally. Most folks have little or no music background, and so we plan music well ahead to allow adequate time for learning.
When possible, web links are researched, so that you can listen to the songs as much as possible to learn the tunes. No one is expected to be at every rehearsal, so we keep a calendar and encourage choir members to mark dates they will be away. We present a wide variety of musical styles and often include flute and other instruments as available, even doing numbers with full orchestra, thanks to digital recordings!
Bells on the Hill
The Bells on the Hill is our handbell choir. We ring three octaves of Schulmerich bells and Malmark handchimes. The group rehearses most weeks except in the summer and presents special music in worship several times a year. If you can count you can play bells in this group!
